Located on the corner of Saunton Sands and the Taw estuary in the Braunton Burrows Biosphere Reserve, Crow Point is a dramatic and remote place. There is ample car parking, drive or cycle over Braunton Marsh from Velator at Braunton. A boardwalk gives access to the dunes and there is a river beach.

In summer there is a modest toll to pay on the private road that leads to Crow Point car park. The estuary beach is immediately in front of the car park and if you follow the beach around to the point you can reach the small lighthouse at the entrance to the Taw. The lighthouse sits out on a narrow spit covered in sand dunes. Follow the beach around to the Sea where it opens out into a huge expanse backed by tall dunes.
